Extensive Data Logging

In addition to remote data collection, the ioLogik W5300 RTU

supports stand-alone data logging on an expandable SD card slot

supporting up to 2 GB cards, along with a built-in FTP client and

e-mail attachment to support remote data retrieval.

Intelligent Monitoring and Alarms

With built-in “IF-THEN-ELSE” Click&Go™ logic, the ioLogik W5300

RTU has front-end intelligence for event response and

time-stamped alarm messages sent through SMS, e-mail, TCP/

UDP, or SNMP trap.

SMS Alarm Escalation and Acknowledgement

Using group SMS escalation and acknowledge technology, the

ioLogik W5300 allows users to remotely monitor the I/O device

with personal cell phones. Alarm notications and responses are

simpler and faster than ever.

Friendly Serial Communication

With a 3-in-1 serial interface, the ioLogik W5300 can create

user-dened Modbus serial tags to transform serial data into OPC

tags for use with a master SCADA system.

Network Redundancy

The ioLogik W5300 includes network redundancy to keep service

running through the primary RJ45 Ethernet and backup cellular

connections.

Active SCADA Communication

The ioLogik W5300 RTU can use Moxa’s push-type active

OPC server to communicate seven times faster with the

SCADA system than traditional poll-type OPC servers, and

still consume 80% less bandwidth.

Moxa’s ioLogik W5300 series is a line of next generation RTUs with a complete cellular communications package: GPRS/HSDPA

and wide-temperature remote terminal unit that is well suited for hard-to-wire locations in distributed monitoring and alarm applications,
